Learning from the qualifying rounds and the YCM Speed Record races, we refined our approach and prepared ourselves for the challenge ahead. Due to unpredictable weather conditions in the morning, the race was scheduled to start at noon. However, the morning was far from idle. DAY  0 of Monaco Energy Boat Challenge  We’ve just touched down in this beautiful principality on Saturday, and the excitement is  palpable. The jet lag hit us hard, but we powered through it, eager to dive into the Monaco  Energy Boat Challenge 2024. Sunday: Hitting the Waters Without missing a beat, our pilots were out on the ocean for trials. The day started early, and  the anticipation was high as we prepared to test our boat against the challenging conditions of    the Monaco waters. A highlight of the day was meeting Mr. Jacques Pastor, who was introduced to us by HE  Didier Gamerdinger, the Ambassador of Monaco to India. This session was incredibly  insightful. Mr. Pastor shared his extensive knowledge about the nuances of the waves and  winds unique to Monaco. Our pilots learned invaluable lessons on how to make quick,  strategic decisions during the races, giving us a much-needed edge.
